2. Use of the service
- Free for personal, non-commercial use. You may save and share itineraries with travel companions.
- Resale, scraping, or systematic republishing of generated plans, descriptions, or photos is not permitted.
- Abuse, including attempts to overload the AI generator or bypass rate limits, may result in a permanent ban.
3. AI-generated content
Itineraries are generated by an AI model (Google Gemini) from a structured input. They are suggestions, not guarantees. Opening hours, prices, train schedules, and venue availability change frequently — always verify directly with the venue or operator before relying on the plan. travel2jp is not liable for trip disruptions, missed connections, closed venues, or other mishaps arising from following AI-generated suggestions.
4. Affiliate disclosure
We earn a commission on bookings made via Booking.com, Agoda, Klook, JR Pass partner sites, Tabirai, and similar partners. Affiliate links are flagged where they appear and the commission does not change the price you pay. This commission funds the site.
5. Image and third-party content sources
Images on this site come from license-safe libraries (Wikimedia Commons CC0 / CC-BY / CC-BY-SA, Unsplash, Pexels) and hand-licensed sources. Per-image attribution appears on the page where the image is shown; an aggregate list is on the /credits page. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL 1.0); tiles are © OpenFreeMap.
6. Pro tier
A paid Pro tier is planned (offline maps, weather alerts, GPX export, unlimited generations). It is not active at the time of this writing; pricing terms here will be updated when it launches.
7. Account termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these terms; we will notify you when feasible.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided 'as is'. We do not warrant accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted availability.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
